Running w/ SXSWissors Game in Austin

The Go Game is featured at SXSW!

The Go Game is proud to be showcased this year at SXSW this year in March. This is quite an honor as we have been selected to stage our much ballyhooed interactive game. Players will be able to login ahead of the conference, make a profile and receive their mission directives. The game will take place over the Interactive portion of the conference from the 13th to the 16th of March. The top five players will receive a free badge to next years festival!

There will also be an official 'Running W/ SXSWissors' Party. We will be launching the Live Interactive Phone Game 'Hijack the Band', where the crowd influences the performance. Come join the carnival atmosphere at SIX with DJ, live music, multi-media hijinks, jugglers, flamethrowers and possibly a dancing bunny. Plus, complimentary food and drinks

Twitter us to get updates about the game or register now to get in on the action!

LARGEST URBAN GAME IN HISTORY

On February 21th, 2009, The Go Game ran the largest game in it's 8 year history. 3500 players in teams of 8 were set loose in downtown Dallas to hit up zones gones in The West End, Downtown and the Arts District.

We staged a spy game that featureed video clues issued with DVD players by our 100 actors peppered throughout the game zone. We created a custom script that featured the Yellow Crooks who had managed to kidnap 3 of the top Executives of the company. Through solving the clues and watching the videos, teams figured out the solution to and key to their rescue.
